Hey everybody!

How about having some fun while you learn the Bulgarian Language?

Tongue twisters are fun but not an easy way to practice your Bulgarian Language pronunciation. On the other hand, it will help you improve your mouth articulation!

As the second edition of the OLS Video Contest (Learn more) is close to its end (4th of February), I decided to give you some ideas for tongue twisters that you can use in the video.

Try to pronounce:

1. Петър плет плете
през три пръта преплита
Плети Петко, плета падна - Петко плети.

(Petar plet plete,
prez tri prãta preplita.
Pleti Petko, pleta padna - Petko pleti).

Meaning: Peter is weaving a fence [one made of interlocking tree branches]
he crosses over every three branches
Weave, Pete, the fence fell down - Pete, weave!

2.Шише със уши на шосе се суши.

(Shishe se sushi na shose se sushi se).

Meaning: A bottle with ears is drying on the road.

3. Пепа пипа попа по пъпа.

(Pepa pipa popa po pãpa.)

Meaning:Pepa is touching the priest on his belly button.
