Hello everybody!
One of the biggest challenges of living and studying abroad is finding friends. At first, you may feel lost in the new country where you don't speak the local language and aren't very familiar with the culture. Some of you may also feel it's not worth it to get to know someone better because your stay is going to be a few months only... From my personal experience, and the experience of some of my friends, exchange programs are some of the best opportunities to meet great people. I have many friends I got to know during my student exchanges, despite the distance we stay in touch and we visit each other whenever we get an opportunity. Now, let's talk about you - do you find it difficult to make new friends during your exchange program? If yes, what do you think is the biggest obstacle - the culture, language barrier, or something else? When abroad, do you tend to stick to your fellow Erasmus students, or do you try to get to know the locals? Let me know down below and share your tips.
