We just published a new blog post: Travel Solo vs Travel with Friends!
Traveling is one of the most enriching experiences one can have, but the way you choose to travel can significantly impact your trip. While traveling solo can get a bit lonely, as there will be times when you won't be able to share those “Wow, look at that!” moments, you will get out of your comfort zone, know yourself better, and expand your horizons. I, personally, love to travel solo, as I am never actually alone - I always meet people along the way that I became friends with. That is why I love the quote:
"A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet."
Then, there is the flexibility part. Your plans can be as rigid or as flexible as you want. There’s no need to coordinate with others, making it easier to adapt to new thrilling opportunities.
On the other hand, travel costs can get a bit more expensive. Without someone to split the costs with, you might find accommodations and other travel expenses higher.
In the end, it all comes to your travel style. I recommend everyone to travel alone at least once in their life. But, I think you are already there, as this mobility is a huge solo trip in itself, with challenges, rewards, and a lot of knowledge gained along the way!
