¡HOLA, everyone! In this short article, we've prepared a list of Spain's most important museums, which, of course, we encourage you to explore.
1) Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid
The Prado Museum is Spain's leading cultural institution, with a vast collection of European art from the 12th to the 19th centuries. Some famous works include Velázquez's Las Meninas, Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights, and Goya's The Naked Maja.
2) Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid
The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía is focused on contemporary art. Its most prominent piece is Picasso's Guernica, a powerful anti-war painting. The museum also showcases notable works by Salvador Dalí and Joan Miró.
3) Museo Guggenheim, Bilbao
Designed by Frank Gehry, the Museo Guggenheim houses a remarkable collection of contemporary art, featuring works by world-renowned artists such as Richard Serra, Jeff Koons, and Mark Rothko, among others. 5) Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, València

The complex, designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, is made up of several buildings and structures such as L'Hemisfèric, Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe, L'Umbracle, and L'Oceanogràfic, to name but a few. 6) Teatre-Museu Dalí, Figueres
The Teatre-Museu Dalí is a museum honouring the renowned Catalan surrealist artist, Salvador Dalí. Since Salvador Dalí's death in 1989, the crypt where he is buried can also be visited at the centre of the museum.
7) Museo Nacional de Arte Romano, Mérida
Inaugurated in 1986, the Museo Nacional de Arte Romano in Mérida holds a remarkable assortment of Roman treasures from the ancient city of Emerita Augusta, such as tombstones, ceramics, glass, coins, sculptures, paintings, and mosaics. 9) Museo Picasso, Málaga
The Museo Picasso is located in the Palacio de Buenavista, a splendid example of sixteenth-century Andalusian architecture, featuring a blend of Renaissance and Mudéjar elements. The collection boasts over 200 works covering various styles, materials, and techniques developed by the painter. 10) Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), Barcelona
