Thank you for being brave and letting us know your motivation for learning Czech. So you are a little familiar with this platform and one of the first to answer our call. We have another question for you:
Have you tried the Czech Placement test yet? If Yes, then how did you find it - easy, difficult, ....

I am sure your experience of living here would be appreciated also by our new forum "Living abroad" which has just started. jsme moc rádi, že máme další členku naší rozrůstající se komunity. Je ještě lepší, že píšeš v českém jazyce.

Ahoj Carmelito,

It is great that you have interest in foreign cultures including the Czech one. Yes, Czech is difficult to learn, but on the other hand, it is one of the phonetic languages, so "what you see is what you get" rule applies. There are few silent letters if any and little weakening of the consonants in pronunciation in comparison to English for example. One of the hardest Czech consonants to pronounce is "ř" which is even listed in the Guinness book of records. I would be happy to help to answer any other questions you might have about the grammar or vocabulary. Thanks for your input and comment. Martin
