Thank you for your patience while I did some investigating. I’ve found out what’s behind your inability to download your certificates.

The platform has undergone major upgrades, one of which is the fact that we now have a certificate linked to the completion of the English Assessment.

To create this link to the certificate, the tech department had to create a new English Assessment.

For some reason, the certificate's link is not compatible with the old English Assessment. In order to find a way around this, a NEW English Assessment was created.

The reason you cannot access your assessment results is due to the fact that you took the old test. You, therefore, have to retake the new test in order to have a certificate.

Accessing The Test From Your Dashboard

If you want to access the new test via your Dashboard instead of the link above, PLEASE STUDY THE TWO SCREENSHOTS CAREFULLY TO AVOID CONFUSING THE OLD AND NEW PLACEMENT TESTS.

Yes, they look almost identical, but here are a few key features to help you differentiate the two if you happen to come across both on your Dashboard.

1. The NEW version has the words, “education & capacity building” above the words, “English Placement Test.”
2. The OLD version has the words, “language & culture” above the words, “English Placement Test.”

Downloading Your Certificate

Now that you know how to differentiate between the two and you have a direct link to the new test, here are your instructions to download your certificate after you complete your new test.

Option 1:

1. Go to your Dashboard.

2. Go to the bottom right side of the screen to "My achievements."

3. There you will see. "English Placement Test Certificate."

4. Click the phrase, “See all achievements.”

5. You will see a mini-image of a certificate.

6. In the bottom, right corner of this image; click the three dots.

7. Select, “Download.”

8. Your certificate should open in a new window for you to view & download.

If Option 1 doesn’t work (though I believe it should!), please try Option 2.

Option 2:

1. Go to the NEW English Placement Test

2. Click: Start Assessment

3. Scroll down to, “Summary of your previous attempts.”

4. There you should see your finished exam and if you go to the right, you'll see the word, "Review."

5. Click: Review

6. This will bring you back to your exam results.

7. On the right side of the screen, under "Quiz Navigation," Click: Finish Review

8. You will be taken to your Assessment Results.

9. On the right side, you’ll see the rectangle with the words, "English Placement Test Certificate.”

10. Click the three small dots in the upper right corner of the rectangle.

11. Select, “Download.”

12. Your certificate will open in a new window for you to view & download.
