OLS Courses, Tests & Certificates
A The OLS platform is the right place for getting in touch with other Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps participants. On the platform, you are able to connect and share your language learning and cultural experiences with your peers. Moreover, here you can also meet the community manager Alenka who is ready to answer your questions and help you succeed!

D Here are the steps to find the Placement Test:
1. Go to your Dashboard in EU Academy.
2. Click "Slovene Learning Community and Resources."
3. Click on "Join the Community/Resume" in the box on the right.
4. Scroll down and you'll see it in the Spotlight section. Click "Placement Test."
5. On the next screen, under the photo, click the yellow bar with the word "enroll."
6. You can take the placement test as many times as you wish.
If you want to retrieve your results
after you've finished the test, here's how you can find your grade:
1. Go to Slovene Placement Test (you can simply find it through
the search tool on EU Academy if you don't remember how you got there)
2. Click: Start Assessment
3. Scroll down to: Summary of your previous attempts.
4. There you should see your finished exam and if you go to the right, you'll
see the word "Review."
5. Click: Review
6. This will bring you back to your exam results.
7. On the right side of the screen, under "Quiz Navigation," Click:
Finish Review
8. You will be taken to your Assessment Results.
9. Once you finished the language assessment, you can download the pdf
certificate on the right side of the page. Unfortunately, this pdf option is
temporarily not available for the Slovene language and should be completed in
the next days. In the meantime, we kindly invite you to take a screenshot of the
result page.
F Previous platform & certificates
"Unfortunately" things have
changed quite a bit since 2021, and the OLS platform has been totally renewed
since the 1st of July 2022. It is now hosted on Eu Academy, and if you haven't
already received it, you should ask your Erasmus+ Coordinator to send you an
email with the link and instructions on how to join the new OLS platform
and do the assessments.
Please consider that in the new OLS platform, the 2 tests are not available
anymore as a single "placement test" has replaced them.
Furthermore, since this certificate is no longer mandatory for new Erasmus+
students, it is impossible to download it. Still, you're invited to take a
screenshot of the result's page in case you need to provide it to your
University.
But … no need to worry! OLS language assessments and courses are available in the EU Academy platform, and the good news is that you can now complete an assessment as many times as you wish in order to keep an eye on your progress.
1. Click on the following link: https://academy.europa.eu/courses/learn-a-new-language/
2. Click on "Join the Community" in the banner on the right. You’ll need to create an EU Login Account to join EU Academy (if you don’t have one already).
3. Go at the bottom of the page and select which language you would like to learn/assess
4. Click on "Join Community/Resume" in the banner on the right.
5. Now you can access the language assessment at the bottom in the Spotlight section.
6. On the next screen, under the photo, click the yellow bar with the word "enrol".
7. You can take the language assessment as many times as you wish.
8. Once you have finished the language assessment you can download the pdf certificate on the right side of the page. Unfortunately, this pdf option is temporarily unavailable for the Slovene language certificate and should be completed in the next days. In the meantime, we kindly invite you to take a screenshot of the result page.
We hope this is helpful but please let us know if you need further assistance.
