In Bulgaria, we celebrate this day to honor women and their contributions to society. Traditionally, on this day we give flowers, chocolates, and small gifts to the women in our lives, such as mothers, wives, girlfriends, sisters, and friends.
Don't be surprised if you see all the restaurants and pastry shops full of large groups of women on this day! We know how to treat ourselves well and celebrate life!"
