The HERA Crisis Liaison Officer’s Network provides EU Member States and DG HERA with a trusted, open and direct communication channel during health emergencies. It supports timely, twoway exchanges between national authorities and DG HERA to enable rapid coordination on the access and availability of medical countermeasures. Through this workshop, DG HERA aims to engage with Crisis Liaison Officers to better understand their needs and priorities, clarify available support, and lay the foundations for a Community of Practice on preparedness and health emergency coordination.

Objetivos de aprendizagem

This Thematic Workshop will help participants develop a shared and practical understanding of DG HERA’s mandate and crisis management role in preparedness and emergencies. It will clarify the Network’s function as a coordination interface and trusted communication channel within the EU health crisis management framework. The workshop will further shape the Network based on Member States’ needs and priorities, identify how DG HERA can best support Crisis Liaison Officers, and set the foundations for a Community of Practice on medical countermeasure crisis management.
