This course introduces key concepts and principles of Diversity and Inclusion, offering participants the opportunity to reflect on their relevance and application within the EU Civil Protection / Disaster Management working environment.
A self-reflection thread runs through the design of this e-course, as self-awareness is a key pillar when developing inclusive mindsets and practices.
The course includes seven modules:

Target audience
Civil protection/disaster management professionals and stakeholders.

- Understand the key principles of Diversity and Inclusion and recognise how these encourage participation and create an inclusive and safe environment in EU civil protection/disaster management working context.
- Embrace the role as active contributor to a safe and welcoming workplace in civil protection/disaster management that fosters inclusion, by showing empathy and respect for diversity, acknowledging the emotional impact of exclusion, and adapting approach to support others.
