Target audience
Union Civil Protection community and people interested in Information Management during European Civil Protection emergencies.
Learning objectives
- list the five steps in the information management flow;
- define primary and secondary data and list examples of typical information inputs;
- outline methods for validating data;
- recognise the importance of a well-structured system for organising and storing information;
- recognise how various audiences need different types of information for decision-making;
- list various information products a EUCPT mission may have to produce; and
- describe different channels for dissemination of information.
