This introductory course provides an overview of Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE), with a focus on prevention, community resilience, and cross-sector collaboration. It is designed for students, young professionals, civil society actors, NGO professionals, and anyone interested in understanding radicalisation processes and prevention strategies. The course examines how education, justice, social services, youth work, and community engagement can contribute to preventing violent extremism. Participants will develop a foundational understanding of key P/CVE concepts and explore how different sectors and stakeholders can work together to strengthen prevention efforts and build more resilient and inclusive communities.
