¿Os apetece conocer la historia de personas que están haciendo o han hecho un programa de movilidad en España o América Latina?
En OLS español hemos creado la serie ❝ My language learning journey ❞ en la cual hablamos con vosotros/as, la gente de la comunidad, para saber qué tal fue vuestro Erasmus + y, sobre todo, vuestro proceso de aprendizaje lingüístico. Hasta el momento, hemos publicado ③ entrevistas, de las cuales encontraréis un pequeño fragmento a continuación ⏬.
❝ El único consejo que puedo dar a quien se prepare para ir a un nuevo país es que no se preocupe porque todo va a salir bien. Vivir fuera de tu país de nacimiento puede parecer muy complicado, ¡pero no lo es! Es únicamente saliendo de tu zona de confort que puedes hacer experiencias que te hagan crecer ❞.
❝ La primera vez que subí las escaleras del metro y me encontré con los palacios y los edificios antiguos, sentí como si estuviera en otro mundo, como si hubiera retrocedido al siglo XIX. Pasear por la Gran Vía en cualquier momento del día es maravilloso ❞.
❝ Al principio pensaba que solo obtendría un nivel muy básico. Sin embargo, ahora puedo mantener una conversación en catalán. La gente me ayuda mucho y siempre recibo muchos cumplidos cuando lo hablo. Creo que todos los que quieran vivir en Cataluña deberían aprender un poco de catalán ❞.

Would you like to learn about the stories of people who have participated in or are currently part of a mobility programme in Spain or Latin America?
In OLS Spanish, we have created the series ❝ My language learning journey ❞ in which we talk to you, the members of the community, to find out how your Erasmus + experience was and, most importantly, how your language learning process has been. So far, we have published ③ interviews, of which you will find a brief excerpt below ⏬.
❝ The only advice I can give to someone preparing to go to a new country is not to worry because everything will work out fine. Living outside your home country may seem very complicated, but it's not! It's only by stepping out of your comfort zone that you can have experiences that make you grow. ❞
❝ The first time I climbed the metro stairs and saw the palaces and old buildings, I felt like I was in another world, like I had travelled back to the 19th century. Walking down Gran Vía at any time of the day is wonderful. ❞
❝ At first, I thought I would only achieve a very basic level. However, now I can hold a conversation in Catalan. People help me a lot, and I always receive many compliments when I speak it. I think everyone who wants to live in Catalonia should learn a bit of Catalan. ❞
