Happy Monday, all!
Welcome to the final week of January and the last week to submit your video for the OLS Video Contest! The deadline is THIS Sunday, the 4 February 2024. If you haven’t done so yet, you still have time! Click HERE.
Are you looking for a bit of inspiration? No worries! Look at these videos from last year’s entries.
If you think you have to be a high-level English speaker to enter, that’s not true! All levels are welcome. Listen to Mikael practice English here. :)
For the contest, you just need to do one of the three components of the contest:
1. Say a tongue twister, read a sentence from a book, or talk about a word that you like.
2. Share an anecdote about learning English.
3. Discuss your inspiration to learn English.
Feeling inspired? Click here for all contest details.
NEW BLOG SERIES : ListenUp! & Career Corner Combo
A new blog series launched today! It brings together several elements of our English community: the ListenUp! series where we have fun, short conversations about learning English and our Career Corner where tips and resources are shared to help you on your professional development journey.
Read the new blog, The Role of English in Academic & Professional Development today and be sure to add your written or verbal replies to the comments. Remember, thanks to the launching of ListenUp!, we have a tutorial about how to use the voice recorder tool on OLS. Get your vocal practice in tip-top shape with us by reading the tutorial and announcement.
